Small-part finishing for factories in Wellgrow Industrial Estate

Wellgrow sits on Bangna–Trat at Bang Pakong, and no single industry owns it. Work arriving from this estate comes in several different steels and answers to several different acceptance rules.

We run one plant, and it is in Samut Sakhon. This page covers collection and delivery for customers in Chachoengsao — it is not a branch or a facility in Chachoengsao.

IEAT-designated covers both estates operated by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand and joint-operation estates run with a private developer. A dash means we could not confirm a single status for the whole area — some of these names describe a factory district rather than one designated estate.

A dash in the port row means the estate sits inland between two ports and we will not guess which is nearer. Nothing on this page is a distance, a drive time or a delivery-time promise.

What this estate is

Wellgrow is an IEAT joint-operation estate run with a private developer, in Bang Pakong district, Chachoengsao, on the Bangna–Trat corridor and inside the Eastern Economic Corridor. IEAT designates its land as a general industrial zone rather than a single-sector cluster, so this page is not written the way an automotive estate page is written: the plants here really are mixed — metalworking and machinery work, with the EEC automotive supply chain running through it.

What this estate asks of a small part

A mixed estate puts different metallurgy in the same delivery. A cold-headed carbon-steel screw, an alloy-steel machine bolt and a spring washer are three different routes, not three sizes of one route. So the first thing we ask for is not the quantity, it is the material designation on the drawing. The second is which rule actually decides whether the lot passes: a hardness band, a salt-spray hour count, or a dimension held after coating. One of the three almost always governs, and it is the one that sets the whole process. A house default is the wrong answer on an estate like this one — your drawing is the answer.

By Part

Part types we run for this estate

Every part type below has its own page. The ones named in the glance table are the ones this estate’s industry mix calls for most — the rest we still run.

End markets on this estate

Each end market has its own spec drivers — property classes, salt-spray hours, governing standards.

Corridor, port and collection

The estate takes the Bangna–Trat corridor, the same road as the supplier belt on the Samut Prakan side, so work reaches our Samut Sakhon plant through the outer ring. The port row is left blank: Bang Pakong lies between Bangkok Port and Laem Chabang and we have nothing that grounds which is nearer. Collection and delivery are arranged per lot and confirmed with sales; no transit or completion time is published here.

Questions we get from this estate

One delivery contains parts in several different materials. How is that handled?+

By part number, not by truck. Each part number is its own lot with its own material, its own route and its own test record. What matters more is that the material designation arrives with the drawing, because cold-heading carbon steel, alloy steel and spring steel answer to heat completely differently. If the designation is missing we ask first rather than guessing and explaining afterwards.

Our drawing only says “zinc plated”. What else does it need?+

Three things. A thickness or service condition, whether a sealer is wanted, and the acceptance criterion — what counts as failure: white rust, red rust, or a percentage of affected area. If the part is class 10.9 or above, or its hardness crosses the ISO 4042 trigger, the embrittlement-relief bake has to be called for as well. Those three turn a quote into something you can compare and a test result into something that means anything.
