End-to-end metal plating and testing in a single facility

V.S. Heat Treatment runs four processes in one plant in Samut Sakhon, Thailand: heat treatment on continuous mesh-belt furnaces, Cr3+ zinc plating, phosphate coating, and an in-house testing laboratory. The work is small steel parts in bulk — screws, nuts, bolts, pins, springs and washers — at over 2,000 tonnes a month under ISO 9001:2015. Heat treatment, zinc plating and phosphate coating are priced by weight rather than per piece; for laboratory testing, the team confirms the method, the number of samples, the price and the return date before testing starts. Large gears, shafts and mould inserts are outside what these lines can take.

Heat Treatment

Small-parts heat treatment service · 2,000+ tons/month

V.S. Heat Treatment hardens small steel parts in volume: screws, nuts, bolts, pins, washers and small automotive hardware, best suited to sizes M4–M16. Parts run through a continuous mesh-belt furnace at 750–950°C under an endothermic-gas atmosphere that prevents surface oxidation, are quenched in temperature-controlled oil, and are then tempered in a separate furnace. Total capacity is above 2,000 tons a month. Pricing is by weight (per kg or ton), not per piece, and every lot ships with a test certificate under our ISO 9001:2015 system.

Zinc Plating Cr3+

Cr3+ zinc plating service · RoHS-safe

V.S. Heat Treatment plates customer-supplied screws, nuts, bolts and small fasteners with Cr3+ trivalent zinc, free of hexavalent chromium. Work runs in barrels or on racks, with coating thickness of 5–25 µm to your specification. The process meets RoHS and REACH, so parts are ready for EU export. Salt-spray resistance runs from 96 to 240 hours, depending on the system chosen. High-strength parts are baked in-house to relieve hydrogen embrittlement, thickness is checked by X-ray fluorescence, and every lot ships with a certificate.

Phosphate Coating

Paint base layer and friction reduction

V.S. Heat Treatment applies phosphate conversion coatings to small parts such as screws, nuts, bolts and springs. Zinc phosphate is the base coat before paint or powder coating and helps the finish grip. Manganese phosphate holds oil well, which helps parts run in and reduces wear where surfaces rub. Coating weight is 2–30 g/m², on carbon steel and hardened steel alike, and anti-rust oil can be applied after coating. The line runs in the same plant as our hardening line, and every lot ships with a test certificate.

Testing Laboratory

Precise inspection and certification

The in-house laboratory at V.S. Heat Treatment checks every production lot. It measures Vickers (HV) and Rockwell (HRC, HRB) hardness, verifies coating thickness by X-ray fluorescence with a spot size down to 0.3 mm, runs salt-spray tests and examines microstructure. It issues Hardness Test, Coating Thickness and Salt Spray Test reports and the Material Test Certificate, so hardness and coating thickness stay traceable without an outside lab. For stand-alone test jobs, the team confirms the method, sample count, price and turnaround before testing starts.
